Police have launched an operation to track down thieves who are targeting cars in a city neighbourhood.
Officers believe the same person or group is behind a string of thefts from vehicles in Aylestone, Leicester.
In some cases, the thieves have used a 'hefty' implement to smash the cars' locks or to wrench open locked doors.
