A young man armed himself with a knife to chase an assailant who hit him on the head with a hammer, a court heard.
Aldermuoy Romeo (23) was seen carrying the weapon by alarmed passers-by including a child on a bicycle.
Leicester Crown Court was told that the man who attacked him with the hammer, causing a wound, has not been prosecuted.
