The death toll on the county's roads so far this year has passed the total for the whole of 2014, police have warned.
The latest figures from Leicestershire Police show 41 people have died in road traffic collisions since the beginning of the year, compared to 36 in the whole of 2014.
The deaths are mostly drivers, their passengers and motorcyclists, however, the total also includes pedestrians and cyclists.
