Police have released shocking CCTV footage of a thug kicking and stamping on a 66-year-old woman while trying to snatch her bag.
The hooded man attacked the woman shortly after she had withdrawn cash from an ATM in the Beaumont Leys area of Leicester.
Approaching the woman from behind, he pulled her to the ground and kicked her in the head and stamped on a number of times.
He ran off empty-handed when the woman screamed for help.
