New helpline and support for domestic violence victims
A new support service and helpline have been launched for victims of domestic violence victims across the city and county.
The new service, which began earlier this week, replaces two which were previously in place – one for Leicester and the other for people in the county.

Police have named a driver who died when his car crashed on a country road last week.
Georgios Papaefthymiou, 27, was killed when his silver Toyota crashed on the A1 Great North Road in Tinwell, Rutland on Sunday, November 29.
The front seat passenger was seriously injured and remains in hospital.

Relatives of a man who was stabbed to death in a Leicester street say they are dismayed two of his killers are reportedly applying for parole.
