A man armed with a knife threatened petrol station staff and ordered them to empty the till.
The raider, whose face was covered by a hood and a scarf, fled empty-handed when staff activated an alarm.
No members of staff or customers were harmed during the attack on Brobot Petroleum,in Thorpe Road, Melton.
The incident happened at 9.15pm on Saturday, October 31.
