A man charged with attempted murder was taken to hospital this morning after he fell ill before he could appear in court.
Dean Bradley, who is accused of stabbing a man in Wigston yesterday morning, was taken ill in the cells area of Leicester Magistrates' Court.
The 47-year-old, of Earle Smith Close, Whetstone, was due to appear in court one at the Pocklingtons Walk court to face charges of attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon.
