Beat bobbies are backing a fundraising drive for an adventure playground which has lost equipment in a series of burglaries.
Officers from Leicester's Hinckley Road police station are lending their support to the Woodgate Adventure Playground when it stages an open-day and fun-run on Saturday.
The playground, in Bonchurch Street, near Frog Island, has been burgled a number of times and is still trying to replace some of the equipment which was stolen.
