The salaries paid to senior officers and staff at Leicestershire Police have been defended by the police and crime commissioner.
Sir Clive Loader was responding to research published today by the Taxpayers' Alliance (TPA) which found eight officers and senior members of staff earned £90,000 a year, or more, in the 2013/14 financial year.
