Police have named a motorist who died when his car crashed on a rural road yesterday.
Clifford Knapp, 69, died in the collision in the collision in Manton Road, between Manton and Edith Weston, Rutland.
No other vehicles were involved, Leicestershire Police said.
Police said Mr Knapp, of nearby Lyddington, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers were called to the scene by a member of the public who saw Mr Knapp's white Vauxhall Corsa in the road at 11.30am.
