A pub customer who kicked a victim on the ground following an argument was given a suspended jail sentence and ordered to pay compensation.
The violence broke out during a row at the Beacon Inn, Beacon Road, Loughborough, on May 23.
The victim was floored with a punch from Paul Middleton, who then kicked him, when the dispute continued outside, said Kate Plummer, prosecuting, at Leicester Crown Court.
