A man caught in possession of a sawn-off shotgun has been jailed for three years.
Fayne Dorset (25) told the police he had kept the illegal weapon after finding it in a field.
Officers located the gun after executing a search warrant at Scraptoft Mews, Scraptoft, Leicester, on August 28.
Dorset pleaded guilty to possessing an altered firearm, a 12 gauge shotgun which had been shortened contrary to the 1968 Firearms Act, without a firearms certificate.
