Police have named a motorcyclist who died in a crash on a country road at the weekend.
Michael George Jakes was travelling along the A606, Oakham Road in Somerby towards Burton Lazars around 5pm on Sunday when his black Ducati left the road.
The 50-year-old, who lived in Stathern, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Leicestershire Police said no other vehicles were involved in the collision.
