An agency nurse has been found guilty of the manslaughter by gross negligence of a six-year-old patient at Leicester Royal Infirmary.
A crown court jury deliberated for 14 hours before unanimously convicting Isabel Amaro in relation to the care of Jack Adcock, from Glen Parva.
The jury is yet to reach verdicts on Amaro's co-accused, Dr Hadiza Bawa-Garba and ward sister Theresa Taylor, and will continue its deliberations tomorrow.
