A father has described how two young boys pulled a knife on his son while he was playing in his front garden.
Matthew Harrison chased and detained the two boys, who are thought to be just nine years old, and found the kitchen knife and two mobile phones in a bag one of them was carrying.
He held the two boys for up to three hours while he waited for police to attend.
His son, who is also nine years old, was shaken but not injured, Mr Harrison told the Leicester Mercury.
