A murder investigation has been launched following the death of a man who was found injured on a city road in the early hours of this morning.
The man was found seriously injured in London Road, near Leicester railway station, at 12.39am.
Police and ambulance were called and he was taken to Leicester Royal Infirmary where he was pronounced dead.
