A 27-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder following an attack which left a man and woman in hospital with serious injuries.
Troyde Godfrey Dixon, of no fixed address, is charged with attempted murder and grievous bodily harm in relation to an incident in New Parks, Leicester, on Friday evening.
Emergency services were called to a house in Dominion Road shortly before 5pm.
Both casualties are reported to be in a "stable condition".
