Trading standards officers have issued a warning to households across the county about rogue traders selling potentially dangerous mattresses they falsely claim to be new.
Officials at Leicestershire County Council are urging people not to buy mattresses from the "back of vans".
It follows several reports of residents in Birstall, Glenfield and Loughborough being approached and asked if they wanted to buy a mattress.
