An investigation has been launched after two giant piles of fly-tipped rubbish were found illegally dumped on farmland.
The piles, each measuring a few metres in height and weighing several tonnes, were dumped on land outside Sharnford and Sapcote in the south of the district.
Blaby District Council is trying to trace the people responsible for the fly-tipping, and is also urging landowners to secure their land.
