Police are warning Black Friday and Cyber Monday shoppers to make sure they don't get more than they bargain in the pre-Christmas sales.
The message is to take care to avoid getting ripped off as they seek out deals over the coming days.
It comes as Financial Fraud Action UK released research showing that nearly a third of consumers put themselves at risk of fraud during the mad frenzy to grab a Christmas bargain.
