A trial which saw bar and club door-staff wear small video cameras has been credited with reducing late-night violence and could now be extended to other venues.
Security staff at a small number bars and clubs in Leicester city centre began wearing small digital cameras on their chests in a bid to deter rowdy behaviour six months ago.
Now, city centre police have revealed they believe it has helped reduce the number of confrontations between door staff and aggressive customers.
