A murder investigation has been launched following the death of a man in the Braunstone Gate area of Leicester.
Officers were called at 3.50am yesterday by the ambulance service to a report of a man with a stab wound.
He was taken to hospital, where he died.
A 28-year-old man who was arrested in connection with the incident has been released with no further action.
Braunstone Gate remains closed today as police continue their search for evidence.
