Belgrave Gate in the city was closed for several hours this morning after a man was found stabbed in the street. The route was shut from Mansfield House Police Station, close to the new bus station, and the Clock Tower while officers examined the scene. The victim, a 21-year-old man, was found at around 3.45am today, outside Brighthouse. He was taken to hospital where he is being treated for a stab wound. He is said to be in a stable condition.
