A National Health Service body has saved a counselling service offered by Leicester Rape Crisis.
The West Leicestershire Clinical Commissioning Group has awarded the support group £20,000 to pay for a worker who supports young victims of rape and sexual assault.
The original funding for the post had ended recently, putting the post at risk.
