A man who was seriously injured after he was assaulted in Leicester city centre last week has been discharged from hospital.The man, aged 36, was injured outside McDonalds in East Gates at 10.45pm on Friday.Police believe he was involved in two separate verbal confrontations with two men before he was assaulted and knocked unconscious by one of them.He was taken to the Leicester Royal Infirmary but later transferred to the Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham.
