Hair salons in Leicester city centre are being urged to take basic security precautions after two businesses were burgled within 24 hours.
Intruders smashed their way into Cutting Room, in Belvoir Street, and Barrie Stephen Hair, in King Street, in the early hours of Tuesday and Wednesday this week.
Once inside they stole GHD hair straighteners and other products.
