Police arrested 38 suspects during a five-day operation to track down people wanted on warrants issued by courts.
The suspects – who were wanted in connection with offences such as theft, assault, burglary and criminal damage – were detained between Sunday and Thursday.
They were traced to addresses – different to those they had given to police or to the courts – after they had failed to appear for hearings.
