A sneak thief deliberately spilled liquid on an 85-year-old woman's coat and stole her purse while helping her to wipe it dry.
The man targeted the woman, who walks with the aid of two sticks, in Humberstone Gate, Leicester city centre.
Police believe he deliberately bumped into the woman, spilling the red liquid on her.
