A man who grew cannabis to alleviate severe pain from a shoulder injury was given a suspended jail sentence.
Christopher Michael Noon (41) was caught growing 18 plants at his home in Keyham Lane West, Netherhall, Leicester, on February 5.
Hannah Whelan, prosecuting, told Leicester Crown Court that police officers executed a search warrant and found 14 plants in the loft, being grown in a large water container.
