Police have launched their annual Christmas campaign to catch drunk or drugged-up drivers today.
Officers will stage extra patrols across the city and county over the next four weeks.
It is the first festive campaign to see officers using the new roadside testing kits which enable them to identify motorists who have taken to the road under the influence of drugs such as cocaine and cannabis.
