Thugs punched and kicked a 13-year-old boy before stealing his bike.
The youngster and his friends were targeted as they walked through a village park earlier this week.
A group of up to six people, whose faces were covered, emerged from bushes and attacked him.
The attack happened in Ratby's Burroughs Road recreation ground at 7.30pm on Monday.
