A gang of thugs attacked a shop worker with a baton before taking cash from the till.
The shop, in Melton Road, Thurmaston was robbed between 9.05pm and 9.20pm on Tuesday, November 3.
Two or three men threatened a member of staff before attacking him with a baton before making off with the cash.
Police said the victim's injuries were minor.
