Armed police swooped on a city street this morning after reports that thugs smashed two car windscreens and tried to break in to a house.They descended on Collingham Road, in Rowley Fields, just before 7am today.One officer told neighbours that a red car had pulled up outside the house at about 6.15am.He said someone had tried to break in to the property and had also smashed the windscreens of the two cars parked on the driveway.When officers arrived at the scene they had to force their way in...
