Police investigating the deaths of an 87-year-old driver and a passenger in another vehicle on the M1 in Leicestershire earlier this month have made a renewed appeal for witnesses.
Albert Kenneth Newman, of Nottingham, died when the blue Mazda Premacy he was travelling in was involved in a collision with a white Ford transit van, near to junction 24 of the southbound carriageway, at Kegworth.
It was later confirmed that Mr Newman was travelling in the wrong direction.
