An amateur rugby player has been jailed for punching an opposition player on the pitch in an "unprovoked attack" which broke his jaw in two places.
Jason Hadley (28) who was playing for Old Newtonians RFC, pleaded guilty to inflicting grievous bodily harm on Harry Neal, who was with Oadby Wyggs.
Leicester Crown Court was told that onlookers heard a "cracking sound" as Hadley delivered the blow.
