A "moment of stupidity" has left a fly-tipper with a court bill of more than £1,600.Charnwood Borough Council prosecuted Manish Chauhan, 35, after he dumped four bin bags in a lay-by in Newtown Linford. The bags were spotted by the council's environmental crime officers who traced the waste back to Chauhan, of Wentworth Road, Coalville.
