Four ambulances have been taken off emergency calls after they were attacked by vandals.The intruders targeted the vehicles at the Gorse Hill ambulance station, in Anstey Lane, near Beaumont Leys, Leicester in the early hours of this morning.Windows were smashed and lifesaving defibrillators stolen.East Midlands Ambulance Service said the cost of repairs to the vehicles and of replacing the equipment would run to an estimated £85,000.The vehicles will be off the road for an unspecified...
