Vandals smashed 17 cars parked in Birstall during two weekends.Police are trying to identify the culprits after a series of incidents on June 16-17 and June 24-25.Cars were damaged in Wanlip Lane, Gwendolin Avenue and Acacia Avenue.Car windows were smashed, wing mirrors were kicked off and vehicle bodywork was dented.A police spokesman said extensive enquiries have been conducted in the areas affected including house to house visits and a trawl of CCTV.
