Disgraced ex-BBC Radio Leicester presenter Tony Wadsworth has been stripped of an honorary doctorate following his conviction for offences against boys.
Leicester's De Montfort University announced today it has decided to take away the honour.
Wadsworth and wife Julie were found guilty of sexual offences against young boys earlier this month and jailed for five years.
He was awarded the honour by De Montfort University in July 2012.
