A 23-year-old man arrested in connection with a death following an assault in a pub car park has been released on bail.
The man was arrested following the death of a man in Scraptoft on Friday night.
Police were called to The White House pub in Scraptoft Lane at 10.10pm to a report that a man had been assaulted.
The man was taken to the Leicester Royal Infirmary where he subsequently died.
He has not yet been formally named.
Tributes have been placed outside the pub.
