Two women thought to be posing as charity collectors have been blamed for a series of sneak thefts.
Police say they have received complaints from people in Market Harborough and Lutterworth of people being approached by the pair in recent weeks.
A number of people have told officers the women told them they were collecting on behalf of a charity and later discovered money missing from their purses or wallets.
Harborough Police posted a warning about the suspected scam on Facebook.
