Burglars targeting elderly people in Leicester have struck six times in less than a week.
The offences happened in Westcotes and Beaumont Leys areas between May 7-10 – with cash stolen in the majority of incidents.
On each occasion the thief got in by claiming to be carrying out work at the address or a nearby house.
The first two burglaries happened on 7 May at 8am and 8.30am in Norfolk Street and Kate Street.
