The trial of the former boyfriend accused of murdering Leicestershire woman Alice Ruggles is continuing today.
Alice, a former Leicester High School For Girls pupil, was found with fatal injuries at her Gateshead flat last October, Chronicle Live reports.
At Newcastle Crown Court Lance Corporal Trimaan Dhillon, aged 26, denies murdering Alice.
Dhillon, also known as Harry, served with the Royal Regiment of Scotland and lived at Glencorse Barracks in Penicuik, Midlothian, Scotland.
