A protester says he was arrested as he made his way to set up a makeshift camp outside Leicester Cathedral ahead of the Queen's visit tomorrow.
James McLean said he was intercepted by police as he made his way to Cathedral Gardens carrying his tents.
He had intended to set up another protest camp at the point where Her Majesty will observe the ancient tradition of handing out Maundy Money to a group of 91 men and 91 women from the local community of pensioners.
