A police officer who assaulted a member of the public is to appear before a misconduct panel to find out whether he will keep his job.Pc Anil Chauhan was convicted by magistrates earlier this year of common assault.The conviction relates to an incident in June last year during which the officer used his Captor spray on an individual without good reason.The handheld device sprays a jet of fluid into a target's eyes and causes temporary, disabling pain.Read more: 'Daydreaming' dustbin man...
