An apparently routine inquiry into an unpaid electricity bill led police to a pair of cannabis 'factories' housing almost 2,000 plants, police revealed today.The apparently mature plants were discovered when officers executed a warrant at a flat above The Crispy Chip, in Uppingham Road, Houghton on the Hill on Wednesday.Further inquiries led officers to a nearby house, also in Uppingham Road, where further cannabis plants were discovered.Officers spent the rest of the day and the next day...
