Dramatic footage has emerged of armed police in New Parks surrounding a flat.
Residents in the area claim that there is a man armed with a gun in the Keightley Road property.
The footage, filmed by resident Teigan-Gabrielle Jane, shows several police cars in the road.
Armed police can also be seen wandering around a garden near to the stand-off.
Trained negotiators are currently at the scene and are in discussions with the occupant of a flat, Leicestershire Police said.
