The director of a firm at the centre of an alleged scam where consumers were duped into eating turkey instead of halal lamb told a jury he had no knowledge of the lucrative fraud.
Mahmudur Rohman – boss of now defunct company Dutch Bangla Direct Ltd – is on trial at Leicester Crown Court.
