Firefighters had to force their way into a flat to deal with a suspected arson.
Crews from Hinckley fire station were called to a property in Lawnswood, Hinckley, shortly before 3.30pm today.
A fire service spokesman said: "The incident involved one first floor flat involved in fire."Forced entry was gained to the property."
Crew members wore breathing gear to enter the flat and one hose reel was used to extinguish the blaze.
