A man and a woman are in hospital after a serious assault at an address in New Parks, Leicester.
Emergency services were called to a house in Dominion Road shortly before 5pm on Friday.
Both casualties are reported to be in a "stable condition".
A 27-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the assaults.
Dominion Road was cordoned off by police on Friday night as investigations were carried out.
